La Certificazione CCT Routing and Switching convalida competenze legate alla diagnostica, al ripristino, alla riparazione e alla sostituzione di dispositivi di rete Cisco ed attesta quelle che sono le capacità richieste per fornire un servizio di supporto on-site e di manutenzione di router e switch Cisco. I tecnici in possesso di questa certificazione sono in grado di identificare i modelli, gli accessori, i cavi e le interfacce di router e switch Cisco, di comprendere le modalità operative del software Cisco IOS e di utilizzare Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI) per connettersi e fornire assistenza ai prodotti.   5. Make a physical connection from laptop to Cisco console port
  6. Connect, configure, and verify operation status of a device interface
  7. Configure and use TFTP and FTP servers (TFTP d32/64, FIlezilla)
  8. Perform software upgrade or downgrade using TFTP, FTP, xmodem, tftpdnld, or USB Storage
  9. Manage configurations via the TCP/IP network
  10. Perform password recovery on a Cisco device
  11. Identify and correct common network problems at Layers 1 and 2
      1. Serial or ether interface status
      2. Ethernet layer 2 (full and half duplex, speed issues)
      3. WAN serial loopback test (T1, 56K and Telco assisted loopback)
